Hamish McGregor.<\/p>

Playing his famous white clarinet, Hamish is undoubtedly amongst Scotland\u2019s most charismatic jazz performers.
He has been part of the Edinburgh Jazz scene for over 60 years, starting in the 1960\u2019s with Old Baileys Jazz Advocates and ending with Fat Sams Band.<\/p>

He now leads a tribute to the late great Acker Bilk entitled \u201cRemembering Acker\u201d. Hamish has now returned to his roots and is delighted to be part of the legend that is Quattro MacJazz.<\/p>

Roy Percy<\/p>

Roy is probably the hardest working bass player on the British jazz scene today and has appeared in bands ranging in style from the New Orleans tradition to Swing, Big Band and Jump Jive.
His speciality is the rarely heard \u2018slap\u2019 technique and he has a driving, exciting rhythmic style reminiscent of the bass players on the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s.<\/p>

In addition to Quattro MacJazz, Roy features with The Tim Kliphuis Trio, The Classic Jazz Orchestra and Alison Affleck’s Gin Mill Genies.\u00a0<\/p>

Mike Daly<\/p>

Mike is one of the most tasteful and exciting cornet players on the UK jazz scene. His style has been influenced by players such as Bobby Hackett and Ruby Braff and has been described as the closest thing to Bix Beiderbecke !<\/p>

Apart from jazz, Mike has performed with various show bands and backed cabaret throughout the UK. He is also the founding member of the The Rhythm Kings.<\/p>

Duncan Findlay<\/p>

Duncan is delighted to be joining Quattro MacJazz, taking over banjo duties from his good friend and outstanding banjoist Alistair McDonald.<\/p>

Duncan is a veteran professional musician and is still one of Scotlands first call session players following a long career in recording on records, television and radio shows and hundreds of advertising jingles over many years.<\/p>

He attributes his career longevity to his ability to perform in many different genres of music and always having “an open musical mind” to anything and everything he has worked on with appearances “from Matt Monro to Balmore Double Glazing and everything in-between.<\/p>

He looks forward to bringing his own unique banjo style to the quartette.<\/p>
